A group is (not) a successful team

A team achieves more than the sum of its individual team members.

High-performance teams are thetroubleshooter, the ever faster changing reality and general conditions. REAL teams mostly work in an interdisciplinary manner far beyond the organizational boundaries. The efficient problem solving of a complex task is in the foreground. Goal orientation, periodic task reviews and a broad knowledge base are among the success factors of a high-performance team. The temporal lifetime begins with the "birth" of theforming- goes through the five team phases according to Bruce Tuckman - and ends with the dissolution - destransformations -the decisive phase of team reflection regarding learning and insights for future challenges - a characteristic of the learning organization.

Mood: Individual versus team

We feel what we think - thoughts affect our mood

“How embarrassing!” “I can't do anything!” “I wish I had held back!” Thoughts are constantly buzzing through our heads, with which we evaluate and classify our actions and the behavior of others. Most of the time we are not aware of these thoughts. But they have significant side effects: they affect our mood, our self-esteem and our view of others. Thoughts are the starting point for whether we feel good or go through life rather burdened. The sequence "Event - Thoughts - Mood" are the basic building blocks of emotionality -  for a team and for each individual team member. From this it follows: If we want to lighten our mood, we have to start with the thought.
